The Brief Introduction
of
Jilin Province Electric Power Survey and Design Institute

Jilin Province Electric Power Survey and Design Institute ( hereafter called JLED) was established in 1955, it is one of the earliest electric power design institutes after the foundation of the People's Republic of China. It holds several Class A certificates for electric engineering prospect and design, the entire process contract, the engineering consultation, the engineering cost consultation, etc. It obtained qualification of undertaking overseas projects which was granted by the Commercial Ministry in 2005. 

JLED has been engaged in electric power design and scientific research for a long time, it posses strong technical force and fine outfits, it can undertake engineering design and prospect for all sizes of electric power projects, especially for large and medium sized thermal power projects and heat supply projects, planning of electric power system, super high voltage transmission line project, communication project and automatic project design; design and prospect for hydrometeorological projects, geological engineering projects, civil buildings and municipal projects; design and plan for municipal heat pipelines; as well as engineering consultation, entire process contract and supervision for all above mentioned projects.

During over 50 years, JLED has made a great contribution to the construction of electric power in China. Thetotal designed power capacity has reached 10000MW; over 19000MVA for transmission line and with the voltage up to 500kV and below, with total length of transmission line more than 10000km、optical fiber communications reached less than 200 stations(4000KM)、microwave communications for about 200 tower stationd(1500KM),The projects completed by JLED spread over dozens of provinces and regions in China such as in Jilin, Liaoning, Heilongjiang, Beijing, Inner Mongolia, Guangdong, Shandong, Henan, Hebei, Jiangsu, Fujian, Yunnan, Xinjiang, etc., and successfully entered into overseas markets as of Korea, Southeast Asia, Africa and America, etc. In recent years, it carved out the new energy design field such as design for straw stalk burning power plant, wind power farm, garbage burning power, kerogen, thermal electric cooling, gas-fired combined circulation, etc., hence it has accumulated a lot of experiences and achievements, up to now it has completed design for over 30 wind power farms, 4 city garbage burning power plants, less than thirty stalk burning power plants, in 2006 it undertakes entire process contract of the first stalk burning power plant in Northeast China which was  successfully  put into generation in the November of 2007. At present, this project is the biggest yellow straw power station. And in 2008,after this project,we have signed two others electric transmission and transformation entire process contract of Tadong and Songnan,developed field of entire process for a further step.and in 28,Dec,2008,the first 500KV tansmission and transformation of Songyuan has runned into operation successfully,and in the same year,we have obtained another contract of Baicheng 500KV transmission and transformation project,and all of this is marked J LED has reached in the team of design of high voltage .JLEP designed working plan of Jilin Jiangnan 2*300MW independent ,reached a historical breakthrough .and in Jun 2009 ,we established the department of wind power ,and production plan,this promoted market share of the new energy further,and the comprehensive manage level of the total institute . JLEP has obtained more than hundreds of awards for the excellent engineering prospect, design, consultation, standard design, scientific and technical advances of provincial and ministerial level, golden medal of excellent engineering construction and standard design for national construction projects, brass medal for excellent design, etc.

In 1999,JLED was one of the 100 strong units of China Survey and Design Enterprise ; in 2000. JLED was one of 200 strong companies of management income in the field of China Suvey and Design Enterprise; and was named "civilized organization “ three times by State Power Corp in the year of 1999-2004, and in 2002, we was named “the first level power design company ”by State Power Corp;in 2004, JLED was named “excellent enterprise” in the field of national power industry by the China Electricity Council;in 2005, was named “civilized enterprise” by State Grid Corporation;in the year of 2005-2008, JLED was named “advanced enterprise”,”customer satisfaction enterprise”、”abiding by the contract and keeping promises enterprise “、”civilization unit pacesetter”、”excellent  4  good leading  team ”、” Ideological and Political Work advanced unit”、”advanced party”、” spiritual civilization advanced unit ”、” credit observance unit” by the Eastpower Group Corp、local government、JiLin  Electric Power co.,Ltd、in 2008,JLED was named “Exemplary home of the employees” by all-china federation of trade unions .in 2009, JLED was obtained “May day award ” by the Jilin  labour union.

JLED has set up a quality management system strictly according to GB/T19001. In 1997, JLED obtained the quality system certification from China Electric Power Enterprise Association. In 2006, it was approved of management system certification for quality, environment and occupational health. Many QC groups have won excellent awards of provincial and national level.In 2008,JLEP has obtained AAA enterprise credit level by China Electric Power Planning and Design Association,and some QC group was evaluated excellent QC group of national and provincial level .
